You don't need texture paste to add texture to your artwork. You can use anything! For example, you can use paper, apply paint thickly, or use the canvas wrapping. You can also use materials from packages, like I did with this artwork. For example, I used an upholstery mat. It has a nice texture that's perfect for creating beautiful structures on the canvas.

I used a 50 × 70 cm stretched canvas for this artwork. The 300 g/m² cotton fabric is stretched over a wooden frame. The wooden frame is about 17 mm high and 38 mm wide.
